It is important to note that the USB power cord will override the batteries when they are installed. If you are using rechargeable batteries, you will need to remove them from the fan and charge them using your own battery charger, as this fan does not support battery charging via the USB cable.

Opening the battery compartment is a simple task - just swipe the bottom cover with your thumbs or fingers in the direction of the arrow, and you're good to go. No screwdriver is required.
